Don I will pass as well. Since it looks like my car purchase is not going to happen. Guy says he sold the car for $1500 less than the offer I had told him I would pay. I think Wheelz's is up.

idk what it matters.........a gs hood is a special hood with scoops put on it from the factory same with the skylarks and the spear. its all the same hood. if it was done perfect no one could tell the difference.

I've thought about this a lot. When it comes to shipping the hood that would be too much to big. So if someone wants to buy the hood and scoops we'll have to work some way for pic up or met at the GS nats for delivery. There has been a lot of interest in the hood and the scoops. So when it when it gets to you on the post I would be willing to work out a deal on the scoops with out the hood.
PS. I'm going to edit the original post.
    Don.

I have advice on that. Ive shipped two via greyhound and it was under 80 bucks. only thing is not every place has a greyhound but for the cost savings compared to everything else its worth it for a buyer to drive a few miles. im sure Memphis has a greyhound thats very close to you.

Don't use greyhound..it's too big..it's to easy to get damaged..and I don't care what anyone says if there's a prob they will not ever pay the claim...ever..

I can't believe a hood ships with them for $80 ..when recently I shipped a bumper for a 66 skylark and it was $90 ...greyhound is not a deal anymore..you'd be better of shipping with A real freight company...the price is so competitive..it's almost identical..then it's up to the driver to pull it out of the buss..if he doesn't want to..he doesn't..he can leave it for another..my bumper went to Washington state instead of Montana..the bus driver just didn't feel
    Ike messing with it..it was a panic...showed up 9 days later..buyer wasn't amused

The best deal right now is fastenal...it has to be crated...but it's safe and cheap..I stood one up on it's side, built a simple frame and enclosed it with cardboard and ply wood down low..then screwed it to a pair of skids it looked like an inverted T...I wrapped it with card board and bubble.

Fastenal from Kansas City to N. Carolina was $175 and that was a deal

It goes from fastenal to fastenal only..you drop they pick up.

Anyway, I search for 3 days trying to get a deal...the cheapest I could come up with is $450+ by traditional freight.

    Hello did the hood sell?

I'ld be intrested in the scoops if you think they'ld work on my spare 65 hood?

If the studs hold up to removal

    Thx

You could cut and drill holes. You would have to make them work. I've seen a lot of Gran Sports in my day but never a 65 with 66 scoops.

the 66 hood is pretty flat but don't the 65 have a little more roll to it. you will have issues there. me if i was going to the trouble of putting a scoop on a 65 it would be a stage 2 or graft 70 ram airs in the hood. ive seen 67 scoops on a 66 and 66 on a 67 it looked out of place. i also saw a 66 with a 67 front clip................just odd to me. personally im not a big scoop person i only like the ones that come from the factory on a car.
