Max Damage I'm working on it!

I am definitely interested in a 5 piece set for a 1968. Although, it will be by FAR the nicest part of my car. Thanks Duane!

    BUQUICK I'm your huckleberry.

Duane if you do these I’d be interested in full set for a ‘68 and a couple of sets for ‘70-‘72.

Thanks for your efforts to supply correct Buick parts.

    Duane,

Do you have any intention of doing these for the 70-72 cars? I realized last week I definitely need a set.

    Thanks!

You and Jason need some nice "survivor" looking type insulation.

"You and Jason need some nice "survivor" looking type insulation."

What do you want me to do? Make up a nice pretty set, then drag it on the grass, thru the dirt, get it a little oily, maybe throw a little black paint on it????

I am sure if Jason wants a "survivor look, he can figure out how to get a nice patina on it.:D:D:D:D:D:D

    Actually, yes. :D:D:D

If we're being honest: my car has become the rebirth of a survivor/making a well cared for car look like day 1. It's hard to explain, actually...

Nonetheless, these insulation parts would really help. :D

The chronicling of what you've done to the car makes it obvious (to me anyway) so not hard to explain, at least to me, but I've also had a somewhat vested interest in watching it all. It's been a truly remarkable transformation of what was yes, a very well cared for car, especially considering the # of owners it had in it's 1st 10 years (6 or 7?), but that had also seen its share of those various owners doing their own things to it w/o necissarily the regard for keeping it orig. Shame that one owner truly abused it but fortunately it was only that one. Could've been much worse fate.

I may have an original 70-72 “used” set that I kept after I made my patterns.

I can look, but that would be costly. Ya know it’s tough parting with dirty original parts.

I think I csn get by with a new set...

So what's the deal with putting the insulation where the hood tach is? Just cut a small x for the wire to pass thru?
