Yeah, that is probably what I will do. Been a long time since I laid under there staring at it coming up with a plan of attack. I had forgotten about it until recently when I had a little fun chirping the tires into second gear several times. Then I remembered that iffy mount. :shock:
Had the trans mount replaced this morning. The original 43 year old mount is a rubber piece in the center of the mount. The new one is steel with rubber. It feels stronger and maybe the rubber handles the ATF oil better? I have installed a Westar mount made in Taiwan.
