True, but I was guessing it would be RR. :)

Now, given that it appears to be a 68 block, that probably isn't even the case!

Was a 400. Same one that had been in the car forever. I had rebuilt in at some point in the 90’s. Had been decked

Car was also being represented as an unmolested car by this seller which it wasn't. I even sent resto pics to the seller from the 90's and they did not change their tune. As I have found out people are shitty and lack morality when it comes to money. Why I am not on this or any site any more except for nostalgia sake. Been fun. Take care.

I decided to ask a simpler question instead of trying to be funny. But if you read it and liked it before I changed it, then cool. Thanks.
I like stepchildren and am happy to see them bring money, but I hate sellers who fabricate and misrepresent. (I posted a RAIV Judge a friend owned once as a roller that, thirty years later, ‘regained’ its matching numbers block). It’s one thing to say ‘dunno, it’s a big block’ but another to post pictures of what appears to be at best a big ass coincidence represented as matching.

I agree with you 100%. Once cars became more about money than the cars I tuned out. I hate dishonest people. Lots of them on the internet.

Despite the block restamp, a 4 speed stage 1 convertible is still only worth $20K? The numbers, documented white 4 speed stage, that needs a total restoration, rot in every panel, interior, engine, etc that sold for $13.xxx, Mike B's restored Cameo car- which sold for mid 20's prior to restoration (??), 69 regular GS 400's selling in the 20's... and this one is worth ONLY 20K? OK...

I’m not saying it’s only worth $20k, but when you subtract the falsehoods (restamp engine plus ?) and cost to fix whatever else he’s hiding, it’s time to walk backward from his price. How far back should you walk?

Patrick, I would RUN from the car due to the restamps! At the same time, a known stage 1 4 speed convertible should still bring a premium over a GS 400 convertible, no?

Guys I can’t say what 18 years has done to the car. My son was in diapers when I sold it. He is a little
Different now. Call the owner , make your own decisions
