:gp: Is this going to be on the SPEED Channel? That's the first time I have seen a pile of dirty snow used as the background.

It will more than likely be on HD Theater. That's where they have been in the past.

Yep, normally HD Theater for Mecum Auction. Most of the time when a collection goes no reserve it is due to a liquidation of some sort. Might be an opportunity to pick up a nice GSX for not much money.

Does anyone know anything about that GSX? Who is Scott Bayrack, the owner, and who restored it? Is there any documentation with the car? I am attending the auction and would be interested in the car at a fair price.

Great looking car. It will be interesting to see what it sells for next Wednesday.

I like the snow as a background. Here is my favorite.

From what I understand not original body (wrong year too) and a Skylark frame for starters.

I'd be pretty pissed for $130K + 8% to find out its been re-bodied to include a skylark frame.. I would think for this kind of money the buyer would have had the car looked at by a professional prior to bidding.. I wonder if there is legal recourse (??)

From what I understand, buyer has 24 hours to arbitrate for non-numbers issues if it rep'd as a real car...otherwise it's as-is, I know I am not afraid of a SINGLE THING on the '69 Stage 1 Convertible we have there...it is restored, but ALL original...VIN-matching motor, trans, frame, dist., etc. Every number matches except the carb (which we have in a box, but it's not on the car).
