  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

Wed. is open for all makes and models. Friday night is open for grudge racing for all makes and models but mostly a no time shootout. I dont expect many to show except for buick owners anyway that have a different car now or their buick is apart. But the option is there this year. They can also test and tune all week. But lets be serious here its not like someone is going to tow a mustang or something to test and tune unless they are a diehard buick fan anyway. So this is just a small way to help keep costs down for the actual people that attend and not the keyboard warriors with every excuse and never show up anyway. Every decision that i have made has been for the best of the event, racers and spectators. Most of the things are even polled on facebook for a majority rule. Im just the spokesperson for what racers have wanted over the years and had a hard time getting or just getting a no answer.

On the Sat race day can a 3.8Buick powered Camaro or Firebird compete in bracket class?

Not an official answer but I have personally seen a turbo TA, a GN powered Mustang and a Buick powered Corvair run on Sat

Correct. In the brackets only like years past it has to be buick powered.

If we have enough cars that are non buick at all or buick bodied powered by something else I will have time for a separate gamblers race for them only on Saturday. This will not interfere with current and strict buick only program.

Is there a website with hotel and golf cart info?

I don't believe there is a "host" hotel. I've read many people stay in this area off Scottville Rd.
There are several near the Corvette museum exit as well.
For the carts, I see this on the GS Nationals page.

The Buick GS Grand Nationals will be hitting the historic track at Beech Bend Raceway May 17-20, 2023 as the Buick GSCA presents its 42nd consecutive annual week-long get together in Bowling Green. Included is racing, a car show, and many other auto enthusiast attractions. Open to the public!

Thank you for coming out to support. Trying to make it a fun day for all. Got some great sponsors and contributions towards the day and event. This is all about adding an extra day since we all complain the event goes so fast.
