I bought some stuff of of a guy last weekend. I know he has one laying there. I'm suppose to go back and buy some more items. I'll let you know the price. Maybe someone else has one for sale as well they may be able to help you faster but I just wanted to let you know there is one out there.
If an extra shroud turns up I would be interested in it for the right price. I've just about had my fill of the electric fan and would like to go back to a clutch fan. Too much drain on the electrical system.

Reminder: A fan shroud from a 300 v8 will not fit a 401 and vice-versa. One has the fat tank on the left, and the other has it on the right, so the offsets are different.
What engine size do you need? I have a perfect one from a 300 v8 I'll sell you. Came off a 64 skylark
Be careful. I beleive the 300" downflow and crossflow shrouds differ quite a bit. The 64 would have most likely had a downflow. Buick switched to crossflow sometime in 65. The downflow shrouds are a fiberglass reinforced piece in dark gray color and the cross flow shrouds are more of an injection molded type plastic that's closer to a black color. I think I have one of each in good shape - $30 plus shipping for either. And yes, the GS 401 shrouds are not even close to the Skylark 300 shrouds. Pat
I wish I hadn't sold the original one after I put the electric fan in but this is what it looked liked. As you can see, it's a cross-flow. I didn't mean to hijack the thread and am a little confused about who is 1st in line here. I want to be fair so if it gets to me please let me know. Thanks. Bill go ahead and take that shroud if you want its probably cheaper to send it to you then it is to send it to me if you want it. If you dont want it then i will take the one for a cross flow radiator PG.
I have a beautiful clean like new shroud from a 67 300 that most likely fit your app.. I can send to you if you want to try it out first... can send you pics as well ..let me know..
I don't think there is an actual line on this thread. If there is it's the guy that actually created it looking for the part. It seem that at times everyone jumps on the band wagon and acts like vultures to get these parts. Usually if your looking for the part you may want to start your own thread not to step on the toes of others.
I think the confusion here is that it wasn't clear if 401nailhead65 needed a shroud for a 300 or a 401. The 401 GS shroud is about 1/3 as wide as a 300 shroud. 300 shroud, as stated by Walt, won't fit in a big block car, I've tried. I will check the shed tomorrow (when it's maybe above freezing and light outside) for the 65 300 shroud. Pat
