I assume your shroud is for the crossflow radiator? I have a busted 65 GS 401 factory downflow A/C shroud and its one hekova lot smaller than yours..? :shock: Makes you go hmmmm. Wheelz, Tampa Bay
i thought all the nailheads where cross flow in 65 the 300/ skylarks where not just had a guy here from west bend yesterday that looked at it as well same as his 65 gs and he has a 401 auto set up he did not want to pay what i asked though Greg

Well...I am a bit funcused I guess...Crossflow?. Downflow? I am still learning about these 65's. Now I really dont know what I have..,my 65 GS is a factory a/c car but it is not here so I cannot really check out to compare. I do know the original a/c shroud I have is much smaller and almost square. I'll see if I can find a pix and post it here. Wheelz, Tampa Bay
I AM SORRY...for hijacking this thread like Brian said...but I fugure while we are on this subject..here are pix of two completely different 65 GS fan shrouds....the one I HAVE, is almost square like the one in the completed car pix..and the shroud Greg is offering is laying in the ground...WHICH ONE? or are BOTH correct ie: Downflow vs Crossflow. ?o No: ?o No: ? All I've ever seen in a 65 Gran Sport is the crossflow 4 core radiator with a shroud to fit that application. In the Skylark I have seen both downflow and crossflow with different shrouds. Don.
