Here is my 71 GS 455, 4speed. I owned the car for 10 years, until I sold it in December 2005. It suffered an engine fire in 2004, the damage from the firewall forward was mostly smoke damage (except the hood). I sold it before I got it back together. I bought it back in the spring and just got it home. I made a few changes, as it was not a numbers matching car. The man that bought it from me carried out my ideas, such as the white sheet metal in the engine compartment. Hoopefully it will be on the road by spring. It's Saturdays in the park days are over, I will drive it like a rental and have some fun with the four speed and obscene amount of torque :beers2: . Allen
Re: My 70 Stage 1 4-speed Car I had a 70 Stage I 4 speed car exactly like yours. I sold it back in the early 90's...any chance you know where that one came from that long ago?
I made a few changes and cleaned 'er up for a few photos. I like the Draglites..... much more modern looking than the old wheels. Going to make a few "other" mods next spring! :BROW: Just about time for Winter hybernation!
So many nice cars!! Here is a few pictures of my baby. I'm the second owner. I bought her in 1988 for $3500.00 and all it needed was a fresh coat of paint. One of 600 made and 1 of 68 that was shipped to Canada. Cheers!! Bert
