'70-72 NOM GS 455 or Stage 1

Have a friend who's not active on here but that's looking for a car pretty much as described in the post below. He might but would rather not buy from a dealer & it is 25 y/o paint so definitely warrants some further inspection regardless.

Just seeing what else is out there. He's not in any hurry. I suggested @bballsam 's clone as well. Hard to beat that as a seemingly well built, sorted out low 11-sec & orig. sheetmetal/factory bucket seat car.

 

I figured the car in the thread I linked to implied that. Not too many NOM/modified Stage 1's that would probably bring much more than that.

Dano, will a somewhat clone 70 GS ragtop super clean car work? I have an elderly friend locally in FL that wants to sell his. It's a 350-4 red with white guts. He like to get low 20K, it sits in his garage at home. Being an elderly person 80+ years old with health issues he barely drives but does. It doesn't need anything plus has cold a/c.
