It pains me to have to sell her, but due to financial, time and space constraints, plus a new little daughter :) it's time to part ways with my 72.

I have owned this car since 2003, it looks and drives great. It is by no means a concourse show car. It is however, exactly what I had intended it to be; a fun clean driver that you can beat the snot out of.

Here are some of the highlights:
    Engine and heads - 73
    1 7/8 headers I'm pretty sure Postons
    Edelbrock B4B
    Holley 850 double pumper
Malory Unilite ignition conversion with ignition box and an MSD rev limiter
Lakewood scatter shield with block saver
    Muncie M20 trans
Centerforce duel friction clutch with less then 200 miles on it.
Mostly correct for big block Buick clutch linkage
    Hurst competition plus shifter
    BOP 8.2 posi 3.23

    Asking $8000 or best offer.

    Hi Mike,
I have interest in your car. Looks good in the pictures . Are there any issues with rust that have to be dealt with? Same question regarding mechanical, get in and drive as is ? Let me know.

    Thanks, Todd

The floors and trunk are solid, there is no visible rust on any of the painted areas other then some starting to show up by the back window molding which I can take pics of if you'd like. It is a Midwest car, it had some body work done by the previous owner, who also painted it the current color which is a early 90s Ford truck color called Turmoline Green. Mechanically it runs good, has run a best of 13.7 spinning the tires through 1st and second gears. I really could never get the car to hook with the 4 speed and had considered swapping it all out for an automatic. It leaks some oil at the front and rear rope seals, but its not terrible. I have driven this car from the Chicago-land area to Indianapolis, drag raced it all weekend and drove back with it without issue.

Just so everyone who is interested knows. this car is NOT a GS. It is a clone car as I stated in the Subject line and is in my signature. The car was originally a 350/ 350 Skylark that was Cortez Gold with a black vinyl top.

I thought this was made pretty clear being stated as a clone, if not I apologize, as I do not want to misrepresent what this car is.

OK so many people have asked me for high quality pictures it's easier for me to just post a link here and have anyone who wants them to download them.

The file is zipped and is about 80mb in size. 31 Pics.

Thanks P.D. I am not exactly thrilled to let her go, but it will clear out the garage to get the 64 or 65 that I will get someday down the road.. :Brow:

To get the pics to open, save the zip file to your desktop, right click on the file and choose extract all, it should create the folder on the desktop. Inside that folder will be the 31 pictures.

    Mike,

You know, if I had the cash, I'd buy it from you just to keep it in good hands then sell it back when you're ready!

Try getting rid of that boat next to it....
My daughter at eight (8), still sleeps like a baby in our Buick.
