I said, "I may", and that could be down the road. No, this isn't the reason I sold it. In this current false economy, on the verge of a recession, and when we are already seeing HUGE inflation, parts shortages, price hikes on all goods, I was quickly getting upside down in this project, and didn't wish to get in any deeper where I was just going to lose more money, plus all the time invested. I will concentrate on cars with less rust, needing less body and paint work. Good friend of mine is a paint rep for Axalta(Dupont). They just informed all the employees the other day that there is about to be a HUGE price increase on paints, clears, hardeners, toners, etc. The kind of price increase that is going to have an effect on everything, car insurance rates going up, cars will be totalled with less damage, new car prices will go up, and restoration will be a thing of the past other than ultra rare 1of 1 Hemi cars. The rest won't be worth the money invested.
