I have a 72 GS Stage 1 for sale. NOM . Approx 92000 miles. 1 of 3 made in 72 with color code 73(vintage red) made. No rust. Th400 with shift improver kit, 2500 ATI converter, work done by Scott Brown transmissions abt 7 years ago-give or take. Engine was built to Stage 1 specs by PG performance around 1999 but with 9.5 compression. Heads are Stage 1 heads from a 71 GS. N25, tilt wheel, power trunk, pwr door locks, pwr windows, rear defrost, tilt wheel, map light, NOS tissue holder, bucket seats, AM/FM cassette(not original) Poston headers and 2.5 exhaust with X pipe installed by Stage 1 Auto in New Jersey also carb tuned by Stage 1 Auto. Derale electric transmission cooler. Vinyl top. Factory gauges with tach, speedolert. New rubber body mounts. Poly control arm bushings. Had a repaint years ago but not perfect. Convenience group, etc etc, . Also Pertronix Ignitor. 1.25 front sway bar. Non AC car. There is a small crack in dash on drivers side and the tranny has a leak at the speedo cable area(per the tranny shop) and I will not get under car at my age so that is all the defects or issues that I can think of now.

This is a running car that I drive about 3x a week to work in summer. Between 2 knee replacements, heart attacks and bad shoulder and no ac in car I decided to sell it since I am getting to old to maintain.

Asking $30,000 Once again, This is a not a numbers matching car.

I am not always on this forum--about 3x a week in the evening. I will contact you per forum rules if interested and also for more details. This is also listed locally. Located in Harrisburg Pa

Looking for cash sale (edited 3/25 to add cash sale-not looking for trades)

    Hi Bill,

My names Louie. We met at advanced auto about 4 years ago when I was buying parts for my Charger. Sorry to hear you are selling. I’ve seen this car parked and driving around the Harrisburg area. It’s a great looking car and color. I hope you don’t mind me posting a couple of pictures I took back in 2017. Best of luck with your sale.

One of the only auto parts stores left with at least 1 knowledgeable person. I sold my charger in 2019 and moved back to the Scranton area. Back to only Buick’s for now.

Someone is going to get a great car!

I know someone who might be interested - I'll send him a link and I guess officially jump in line in case he is.

I like that color. Was it a standard '72 or SCO color? Neat that it's so well optioned but no A/C. Do you have Sloan Docs for it?

SCO color. Special order Riviera color. Sorry no Sloan docs. Going to work now. Thanks for asking

Ok I tried to add pics to original post but it wouldn't let me so here is a pic of tag and vin plate. Sorry for reflection shots but its the best I could do and I guess you are looking for the V in the vin so that shows up pretty good. I also added additional info in first post.

That I don’t know. All I know is I was told it was special order and when I looked it up on the net I found documentation stating it was one of 3 made in that color for 72 and that it was special Riviera order color. The guy I bought it from said a guy named Chambers or Chamberlain (sp)verified it when he bought it Supposedly he was some expert in GS’s. That was back in the late 90’s. If it sells it sells if not so be it.

I know of a non-Flint built '72 that was painted a Riviera Color (Charcoal Mist) and there was nothing special on the trim tag. Only reason I realized it was the orig. SCO chalkmak was still visible on the firewall.
