What year in the 80's did Riviera have wheels that looked similar to this? http://www.v8buick.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=34764&stc=1
Saaaweeet Dave, love the movie clips. Love the GS. Sleeper whitewalls even. Gives my Century something to aspire to this year at NRP in Ohio. It'll be the first time out with a stock 70 SF 455 /TH 350 mild stall and 3.42 L/S. Breaking 13.99 would make me happy. :3gears: Especilly with the A/C on! Keep those 73's commin boyz!! :TU:
The 13.2's came courtesy of the BFG Drag Radials - Car ran a best of 13.77 with those whitewalls. Engine looks good - Keep us updated!
Here are some of the ones Ive had, most models post 1973... http://photobucket.com/albums/v11/skybax/
coolest 73 out there YO Zach, Where did you get that awesome ride? I heard that Buick made a 1973 prototype stage 1 car. Is that it? The spy photo I saw from the GM proving grounds in 1972 showed a car like that. It had stage 1 emblems on it.
Yo, D-Man! It is the rare prototype, originally piloted by the famous test driver for GM Mr. I.P. Freely! The car was thought to have been lost in the Bermuda triangle while on an excursion to the Fort Lauderdale coast, while attending a Lead Zeppellin concert. The car was then rediscovered years later,by a fellow at a yard sale, actually perusing the bell-bottom polyester pants that were laying on the hood of the car, obscuring the rare cowl induction hood. Receiving the car for the paltry sum of $500.00, with the condition that he would buy the bell-bottom pants, and obligitory 4 inch "stacks" shoes for an undisclosed amount, the car was procured forthwith. When I have driven the car, I have a strange compulsion to listen the the Stayin' Alive soundtrack, and have my hair permed. Also, I feel the need to wear loud plaid suits, and listen to the Carpenters, on eight track yet! There is indeed a strange force at work within the confines of this "Groovy" automobile. My name is Zach, and I'm an autoholic!-
