Take a look at the pics of the black car in post #130 (on this page, just scroll towards the top of the page). That is a factory 73 GS Stage 1 car.
73 Electra 225 Does any one own one of these land yachts? I am seriously considering picking on up the car is very straight and all original I would like to get some feedback on any one that owns one as far as as weatherstripping (is it hard to come by?) Also thisis a 4-door HT that is mainly my interests! Thanksin advance
I know a bit about them, what do you need to know? :Brow: Weatherstripping is reproduced for the 4-door Electras. Im buying some for mine too. I have two 4-doors although one is a parts car. I love the car, just can't wait to finish it. Ask away! :bglasses:
I have the chance to pick up one of these machines I love the way thy look! My main concern is the weatherstripping for the 4drht, everything else I can handle, how does the 455 run in these cars is it enough HP to move these beast? I know it won't set land speed records but just curious. this is a Limited I am looking at. What is this boattail registry? Thanksfor the info. Is there any thing I should be aware of before taking possesion of one of this babies? :Brow:
I love the way they look too. :bglasses: The 455 runs real nice in them, nice a smooth! The 455 is plenty sufficient to move the Electra. The car rides like its floating on air, I love it. It will however set land speed records, just not quick in the quarter mile, 15-16 seconds. :Brow: My parts car is a limited, just the same car but I guess a few more options im not entirely sure but I'll look it up. One thing you should know, they arent easy to move if it doesnt run. Send me an email at: scionxb@comcast.net and we'll talk it over there. The boattail registry is a registry a friend and I created to trace down as many 1971-1973 Buick Rivieras that we could. I use to own a 1972 Riviera before my electras which Is why I created it, I continue to update it even though I dont have a boattail.
Is Behemoth a model of Roadmaster. I have never heard about it before. But we haven't so many never USA passenger cars over here either.
Behemoth Definition The word "behemoth" has come to be used for any extremely large or powerful creature.
