That's not a bad looking car for that asking price.
It's listed as a Roadmaster, but in the text it does says Electra 225.

I see a Limited script on the side of the vinyl roof, that makes this an Electra 225 Custom model.
If you check all the photos, it looks like all the hubcaps are still there.

Looks like a pretty nice car for the money. Only downside is you'd have to get it towed to your home to get it running. That or if you are brave enough, you can try the Vice Grip Garage method.

I always wonder when I read stuff like that: Why not spend a few hours cleaning the car inside and out? [IMG]
Make the engine run, take new photos, list it for $6000 and sell it for $4750 [IMG]

I don't think this car has the Limited interior?
So its a 225 Custom?? Half way between the 225 and full Limited?

For 1973 there were only the Electra 225 and Electra 225 Custom models available:

For model year 1974 there were three Electra models available, first year for the Limited as an Electra series.

    Electra 225
    Electra 225 Custom
    Electra 225 Limited

    1974 Buick Electra models:

    From the 1974 Buick brochure:

For 1975 and 1976 the Electra 225 Custom was dropped.
It was back to two models again:

    Electra 225
    Electra Limited

    Screenshot 2024-01-05 131022.png Now i'm confused..
Just a snip pic but the interior is different. Said to be just a Limited model. Screenshot 2024-01-05 130402.png
Could it be a late year thing?

There was no 1973 Limited model, it was an option package.
Not a separate model, like in 1974....

Maybe it's different because that's vinyl vs. cloth?

Ah ok I get it now.
The seats i'm pretty certain are plushier not just because they are cloth, the door panels too seem to have better fabric or fake wood..

I also think there was a Park Ave. option in 1974? Wonder if you can find one listed somewhere..
This 74 Park Ave.? was probably a late add on option because Caddy's Fleetwood and Olds 98's were now doing the plush pillow seat thing.

Edit: I'll go back to the date code but i'm wondering if member Luxus's car is the original Park Ave??

Check the VIN from the video: it starts with 4V39:

So, it's an Electra 225 Custom model:

No, Park Avenue was an option package only for the 1975/1976 Electra Limited 4-door hardtop models.
For 1975 there was even an ultra rare Park Avenue DeLuxe option package available.
Only 37 cars were built with that package.

Was that the one with a center console for writing in the back seat? or was that just the Caddy Talisman?
Or was it the Halo vinyl top?

If it's not rusty, be a fun car to clean up & get road worthy between now & May & drive 'er to the Nationals! And the to the BCA Nats. Also if I didn't already have too many projects!

Thats semi local to me. Given the area that will undoubtedly wind up in a demo derby.

Looks like it would be a good one to go for; - if it doesn't have a rod sticking through the side of the block it would make a good daily. Hope someone saves it from the Demo Derby.
But it does look like an easy clean up, and if it was local to me, I'd have bought it. Probably was some Grampa's Pride and Joy that he never got around to doing anything with.
It's really too bad that no one wants these big cars, because they really were quite good, super reliable, and drove like a cloud.

The Electra Limited with the Park Avenue option package could be ordered with 40/40 seats and a centre console at the front.
Making it a 4-seater car

They all came with the Halo roof with the extra moulding and "Park Avenue" decals in the small side windows.
