There are a couple of demo derby guys I know of up that way that grabs up every good deal '70's big GMs like this . I sure hope it wasn't any of them that got it because it will have been boned out stripped and then set up to smash . One guy is near pittsburg , has loads of money and will travel the distance . Another guy is closer, on the PA/NJ border. The guy in NJ had a 20k mile lightly wrecked '74 LeSabre Luxus 2 dr , boned out the parts for premium money than sold the car body to derby people. They all know each other .

 

I would like to find even a pic of a 1975 Park Ave Deluxe being that I doubt any of the 37 made are still on the road..
I do remember back in the mid 80's that I believe I saw one in person as even the roof liner was about 1 inch thick velour, not just the carpet being plush.

 

We had a fantasy member, claiming he owned one of these, it was even a prototype....
He was never heard of again.

It looks like it never had the wide chrome molding that ran the length of the car plus that doesn't look like a Halo roof??

 

It has the Halo roof with the extra moulding:



And I have seen other Park Avenue optioned cars with the small side moulding.
