When I was 16 I was working for a Borgward (!) dealer in Needham, MA. One day the son of the owner and I went out back to jump a dead car to bring it in for service When we got to the car we noticed a guy surrounded with booze bottles. We checked yo see if he was OK. He wasn't. He apparently had drunk (drank?) himself to death.
Jones Valley , Birmingham , Alabama summers here are hotter than Miami. Summertime heat causes a temperature inversion , and the humid hot air gets trapped in the valley floor.
These apartment house in these photos are across the street from an abandoned high-school. Vandals had been stealing the plumbing and wiring, Until someone started a fire and the school burned . And later demolished.
