Is it feasibly possible that Brian's 427 could leak from anywhere else ? Not only does he need to Hard Block it to the cylinder heads, he now needs to put a dry sump on it to keep it from piddling on the ground. Either that, or he needs a diaper ..... for the car, not him.

It's running again. :TU: :TU: And even have a tach this year, but no rev limiter. MSD is fried, so pulled it out. 2 more very strange wires running around under the dash to track down, then back together. May get some sleep tonight yet! Didn't help the situation when I hot wired it at Norwalk a few years back when I lost the keys at the rest stop.

Gonna be a hot one Saturday! Better put another cooler in the truck. :beer :beer

That was me yesterday .... I thought I was all set with the battery and realized that I let it go with the W-31. Off to the parts store I went. [IMG]

Just loaded mine on the trailer

Spent some extra time polishing the back bumper so everyone can look at
themselves following me down the track :3gears:  :bglasses:

See you all tomorrow morning. :TU:

Running, going on the trailer and clean it when I get there. What a pain. Battery had a dead cell. You'd think they could make a battery that would last more than 10 years and sit for six months at a time.

Real F'in tired. Too old for this. :(

    Yep

My GS400 fired up last night with mouse turds on the hood, and went down the road and back and then in the trailer, will wait till tomorrow to knock down the dust and turds with the detailer, and be ready to play racecar with it one more time before the real deal, redo the front end and get rid of the 38 yr old front end bushings, that got ekekekkkkekeeek, and make it nice for PSDR in Stanton in September. See you all tomorrow, have safe trips to Martin! :beer :beer :beer :moonu:

Geez, Dave, you have pretty high expectations... :pp

We can put a man on the moon but we can't make trailer running lights that stay on... :af:

Yeah, but it all workedd out.

Donny was grinning from ear to ear when Tim Clary and Paul tuned his Vette yesterday and he ran a new all time fast for the car.

Yeah, it was great of Tim to jump under the hood after I confessed I did not have the will to live after last week, let along jump under the hood with a timing light. :beer

And a special thanks to Paul Vitale for helping get a bare long block into a running car in 4 days with limited tools and a more limited mechanic :Dou:

the car ran an all time best of 13.75 @ 101 plus, and there is a lot more there to find before Sept :Brow:

What a great time seeing all great people who come to these events. My Pure Stocker was car 70 in the F/S class, and that is a lot of Pure Stockers :TU:
