i also sold a set of 14x6 original rallye rims + good used bfg 225r70 tires off my 72 gs for $140 in late 2005. the purchaser drove 110 miles to pick up the set. now here is the rest of the story. at a local carshow in september of 2005, i won a 50/50 draw for over $900. that money paid for a new set of 15x7 rims that i had ordered 5 months earlier, plus in addition to another chunk of change from my bank account, i bought four new bfg t/a 245r60 tires of couse i had to pay 15% taxes on all the goods.
Well I found the rim code on the inside of the wheels. It's 991. Using the chart thats stickied on the top the page, I can now tell exactly what they are. Thanks for all your input.
