Although I don't have the car yet,

This is a picture I have of it. The cage is supposed to be an Art Carr 8-pt, but you will notice that it is missing the two support bars that attach from the back of the seat bar to the floor. If I've read the rulebook correctly, that's all it needs (plus certification) to go down to 7.50's. It does not have the bar that goes to the front of the frame rails through the engine compartment.

None the less, it will probably be a few years before I even need enough for 11's (hopefully sooner than later).

Here's one from the other side.
Personally, if I were going to cage a car I'd just go the 6 point roll bar route that is good into the 10's.

    Thanks Steve,

I will be staying with a 6 point for sure (a basic roll bar more or less). it doesn't hurt to see pic's of both tho.

I haven't forgot your Rods and Pistions........ They will be coming sometime in the near future :)

    You're welcome Rich,

It's a lot more cage than I'd put in, but now that it's there... it gives me a built-in goal for the long term.

In the short term I'd like to convert the door bars into swing-out's, so that I can completely remove them until they're necessary.

That's something to consider for yours, having swing-out door bars that are very unobtrusive when they're not "required".

Also, you'll want to position the hardware so that you don't have remove armrests and such.
