Change from Lectric Limited to Pertronix conversion?

    Sorry but I don’t think China is to blame. Who buys and sells this crap….it’s your neighbor inCalifornia or Boston or New York. Good ole USA folks that shift production and contracts to the low cost producer. I have posted before, I have sourced products globally, if you want cheap crap you can get that in China or Vietnam or any other country with cheaper labor. But China has talented engineers and world class manufacturing….if you choose to pay for it. Our brands need to respect their customers and we need to stop hunting for the cheapest part..

    My Buick tach is a 1963 wildcat pedistol style. I have used in 3 different vehicles, and 3 different type distributors.
    1. Points type
    2. Hei type
    3. Pertronix 3 distributor
    No problems with the old 63 wildcat Buick tach on all three of these since I got it in 1971! So, 60 years, still working.

    Always mounted mine to body metal for good ground. Otherwise a ground wire will be needed from the mounting screw to a good ground.
