  3. The "Group Buy" for the 1967-68 Deluxe Steering wheel recasting is now officially "Open". Now is the time to start sending in the wheels. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. You will be contacted by Teresa to make payment for the wheel(s) and return shipping and insurance when your wheel(s) is complete. The shipping will be factored on your delivery address and insurance. I will be sending the contact information all of you have sent me to Teresa at Kochs.     This is for the 64-67 long console. These are made from Cast plexiglass which is harder than regular plexiglass, so the etched letters have a sharper and cleaner cut line.     Shipping to Europe can be done but I would have to charge you for the shipping. Maybe there are a few of you guys over there that want these and you could split the shipping cost. I now have a copy for the D,L2,L1 so stay posted for the pics. Thanks for the copy 67GSFun!

    I just noticed that the letters are in a different position for the 65 lens to the 67 lens. As dl7265 points out that pic I am showing IS for a 65. I do have the correct one for the 67 DL and I am getting a copy of 3 speed lens as well. What about the 66?? I am thinking it is the same as 67 for letter position or is it??

    Here's a picture of a lens I made for my 65 with a 200R4. I got a lens for a Chevelle OD kit for $10 and cut to fit and pasted.

    Marko I checked with the postal service and until I bring in the envelope, it looks to be around the 8-9 dollar price and this would be airmail as well. So your cost is $40. for the lens and slider. I am getting the D,L2,L1 made this week, so these should be ready to go by the end of the week. Anyone that is still wanting the 67 3 speed lens, please let me know. I think these will go fast!
