Does anyone do any shell reloading?

Primers are killing it right now. I got lucky and found some 300 win mag brass the other day, but Graf's hasn't shipped my order yet. So far I just load that and 300 RUM, so I only have one diameter bullet to buy at a time. The RUM wasn't cheap or easy to find brass for even in normal times, but my 91.5 gr charge of retumbo hurts to pour out in these times we're in.

I don't see many 264 wm around here, as a matter of fact I think I've only ever seen one rifle. Always perplexed me how marketing alone can determine the fate of a cartridge. 6.5 prc is being pushed these days for the magnum class 6.5's, and I can't see anything it can do that a 264 couldn't. Then again I never understood how so many people fell head over heels for the creedmoor with 260 rem and 6.5x55 being around for a few decades in one case, and more than a century in the other. To each their own I suppose. I do regret selling my 7mm rem mag, though.

A totally dumb story, but what the heck. My brother used to make all of his ammo. I'd help, but really didn't pay attention. I was taking a Speech class in college, and we had to do a demonstration speech. So I figured I'd bring my brother's reloading equipment. Some of you might be saying, "Bad idea." This was the late 70's. The teacher had no problem with my "speech." During break, just before my speech, I'm hanging out with another kid from class. He saw what I had. He was in the Police academy. He asked me questions I had know answers for! Then he saw what I knew and said, "Don't worry." I'll make you look good." He did!!! I got an A+ for my demonstration speech!!!
Can you make bullets in a college classroom anymore? Probably not. Bummer...
