Ebay problem

No, the ad didn't say new but the followup email did.
I don't think I should have to buy a 32 in monitor and blow the pic up when a simple statement "used" could be there. If the box was not there I would have been more wary.

That'll be a sad day when EBAY sellers expect the buyer to dissect and magnify the photos to avoid getting ripped off.

The bottom line is if the seller said it was new (in an E-mail or the ad) and it is not then he is still a liar. Am I right or wrong?

I'm with you Chris. Regardles of when it was said, it was apparently misrepresented. The seller needs to make it right. This is exactly why I am so paranoid about ebay auctions!

Haven't heard anything from the guy except that he was done discussing it and was blocking my emails.
    Such a fine character.....

I seem to be having a problem selling my Dominator screens now that I have 2 bad feedbacks. sad part about it is that both were from when I got screwed buying something from someone else NOT from anything I have ever sold.
I guess people see 2 bad feedbacks and move on. Sucks....

Let me ask ebayers here.....if you see neg feedback do you automatically not bid on something? Do you read the neg feedback? Do you check to see if it is for selling or buying?
I can't get anyone to even bid on anything now after this incident.

I think ebay should differentiate between buying and selling on the feedback rating. I would have 100% on selling. That's what should count to a buyer, right?

You buy something and get screwed. Then you get screwed again.

I am ready to release the screwers name to individuals via private email to interested parties.
Later maybe publicly if I have to.

I generally read them, but don't expect the average Ebay user to bother with it.

    You have my sympathy.

I read them find out reason for neg feedback. Depending on situation may still bid.
