Thanks for the tip. however I'm trying to hide the line as much as possible and I'm not as concerned with flow as I am with pressure equalization front to back in that main oil galley. At 60 PSI that 3/8 line and those fittings will flow plenty for what I'm doing.

Are you going to pressurize your oil lines before bolting on the flexplate?

I'm going to prime the system using a drill to verify no leaks.

I’m not knocking your work you did a beautiful job, however if you start measuring the inside of some of those brass fittings you’ll see your 3/8 line is a lot bigger than some of those fittings and your only as big as your pinch point also try and limit as much bends as possible. Remember our Buicks have terrible bends and restrictions in the oiling system to begin with. But I get what you’re trying to do

At the rate I'm going it will take me till August to get this engine assembled. .006 thrust clearance. We good? I like that the machinist engraves the balancing specs on the crank for future reference.

    .006" is good.

Thoughts on tapping an assembled engine to add the balance line?

no tapping required because the rear passage is already quarter inch npt and the oil pressure sending Port is quarter inch npt or 3/8 npt if you've enlarged it.

With the close Street 90 you don't have to do that. I'll take a picture and post it this evening

    From 2015 thread: "
1/4 NPT--- and the thread has to be tapped deeper, to accommodate the fitting at the right depth, to clear the flexplate.
