This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

GS National 2022 Car Show changes needed?

I didn't expect the judges to go over my sheet at MCACN the first year I went, it was VERY appreciated. I had a conversation this weekend with someone who judges and the comment was made about the "going over the score sheet".
I am humbled by the guys who take their own time out of a show to judge these cars so in no way would I want to see them have to spend more time.
I just was wondering the difference in the two shows.

From time to time we also were requested to pre-judge a car. Many guys do not want us to look at their cars before the event, but there were some that wanted to know.

They would make up a list as we went around the car. This would give them a few days to “fix” some things so they would get a better score at the event.

I think the difference is this. At the GSCA some of the judges are also the ones that fill out all the sheets, do all the paperwork, and put the awards together.

At other shows they have different people doing all the paperwork etc. This would make a big difference with how much time the judges have to spend with the people.
