Funny, I was just thinking the same thing. They don't seem to be to quick when it comes to helping us, but they sure are quick to make comments and cry about us not giving them enough help($$$).

We help countries that can't help themselves... how could they repay the favor?

The rest of the world thinks America is a joke due to our recent "helping".

We put in a $ 100.00 to the Canadian Red Cross this morning. Little else we can do from our location.

Does the rest of the world think we are a joke because of our "helping" after the tsunami?

Canada once again has offered all the assistance it can. Ontario Hydro (electric) crews are already on standby, just waiting to be asked. They will be there!

Trust me, Canadians will help , just as they did in the aftemath of 9/11. Or did you not know about that?

Please don't bash us!! We are neighbors and more than that, friends!

I agree,Canada is one of the few countries that will pitch in to help out. I sense that England will be helping us out sometime soon. There are only less than a handful of countries willing to help us out(that's ashame, because we are always there for every country, whoever it is).

I believe we look like fools to a lot of countries because they have this "sink or swim" attitude about us.

All I know is whatever the crisis,The USA always manages to get herself out of a catastrophe.

Well here's our reply from Islamic extremists :moonu:

Islamic extremists rejoiced in America's misfortune, giving the storm a military rank and declaring in Internet chatter that "Private" Katrina had joined the global jihad, or holy war. With "God's help," they declared, oil prices would hit $100 a barrel this year

I say KILL em ALL!!!!!! :blast:

The company I work for (Canadian owned), just announced that it will meet $2 for every $1 donated to the Red Cross for Katrina Relief.

How about OPEC donating a couple 100 million barrels of oil to the cause???

Just wait, ten years from now is the time to judge things like this. Critics in this instant gratification world always base their opinions on snapshots, without looking at the long term goal. My only wish is that we take more serious steps to divorce ourselves from those bad guy oil producing countries.

BTW, thank you Canada :TU: !

Stop the bashing already, France DID help you get your independence and as long your government DO NOT ASK, no help is coming.
What kind of help do you expect anyway, guess we can ship over some sandbags and pumps, they will only take about one month to get there, maybe a little longer since all our ships are busy sailing military equipment to and from Iraq.
