Danna, I seen (LARRY70GS) car, he has a 1970 GS Stage 1 in the same color combo. Real nice car.:TU: Maybe you can contact him for some pictures.
Its the same color code ( saddle brown ) , everytime i come to this board it makes me wish the car was done
Keep coming to this board and with the knowledge of the many people here, it will eventually get done! :TU:
I used to know two brothers who had matching 1971 442s except one had a hardtop and the other a convertible. Even the convertible's roof was the same color as the hardtop's vinyl roof. Both were the Olds version of that color, and pictures do not do the color justice. It's actually a very nice and bright color, beleive it or not, even if it is a dark brown
Danna, i own a 70 GS in code 68 brown at first i didn't care for it but i grew to love the color it was a 350 car now has a 70 SF code 455 from a riviera bored 30 over 2x4's on top the car goes pretty good when the gremlins decide to pack it up...lol... anyways hope your project goes smoothly trust me all the work and time invested is weel worth it!! Rich Martel 70 GS 350 (462) :Brow:
It took me a long time to learn to like the car and the brown I wouldnt even ride in it till I was 16( boyfriend at the time wanted to drive it ) i thought it looked like a big long piece of &*^&. my mom offered it to me and both of my brothers , the brother that did accept it got it taken away pretty fast . i now kick myself in the b!!tie for not takin it!ou:
