I am selling my 70 GS. The car is in the Charlotte, NC Metro area and the asking price is $42,500.00. It has been in 4 national shows and has garnered a first, a second, a Silver and a Gold Senior award. I have attached a word document descibing the car as well as a couple of pictures. I will post more pics over the coming days and can e-mail hundreds upon request. The car is a true show and go machine having gone mid 12's at Z-max then placing in concours events. I will be putting it on evil bay in a couple of weeks but wanted to give you guys first crack at it. I have over $60k in it, (yeah I know), receipts will be available for review. Ok, word doc didn't upload so I copied below. 1970 GS 455 Real BB GS cloned into a Stage 1, Sloan Docs, complete frame-off restoration, hundreds of pics available of the process Starting from the rear, Bumper re-chromed at Tri-city plating, new taillight lenses, new “Buick” bumper plate, new license plate bumpers, new Quantum gas tank, cap and straps, gas tank pad from Patton Glade, new Robmac ” sending unit, T/A no-hop bars, new seals, bearings, brake shoes and hardware, new Eaton Posi, Chevy 12 bolt with 3.31 gears, new driveshaft, stainless brake lines from Classic Tube, TH 400 rebuilt by JW, new converter from JW, engine will be in a separate paragraph, new Moog ball joints, tie rod ends, center link, pitman arm, idler arm, sway bar links and control arm bushings, spiral shocks. Aluminum radiator from the Chevelle Cool guy here on the board, new overflow tank, washer tank and hoses from Frank McIntyre. New correct rad cap. The original 70 core support was repaired using a Garrison patch, the inner fender and battery box are new. We used a new booster and master cylinder, new engine harness, new front light harness, rebuilt wiper motor with correct white washer pump. New wiper arms and blades. New regulator . New heater core. Front bumper done at Tri-city, headlight bezels at Advanced in Nashville. The body was repaired using a pair of NOS quarters, new trunk pan, pieces of new inner and outer wheelhouses, and repaired (with new metal) trunk drops, front fender patches and rebuilt braces. All rust and prior bodywork was cut out and replaced with new metal. No bondo and very little filler in the car. We also used new emblems, new top trim corners, new drip rail moldings, and all other trim was buffed. New hood bar. Car is burgundy mist with a white painted top. All new glass from AMD. New rocker moldings. NOS driver’s side Tri-shield remote mirror. Softseal weather stripping. Interior is all new Legendary pearl. New carpet, package tray, etc. Custom Audio in dash unit with vintage Buick look and I-pod connection, new repro rally wheel, new pedal pads, new mats, re-chromed bezels, new woodgrain, heck, we even had Advance re-chrome the console insert where it says “ P, R, N etc” I’m sure there is more but you get the idea. That is the most beautiful GS I have ever seen. When I hit the lottery ray: I would be tickled to death to take it off your hands.......LOL, but please don't hold your breath!
It is code 78 Buick called it Misty Burgundy Irid. The chevelle I had code 78 was Black cherry. It is the same color just different names. It is a very nice color, sometimes it looks solid and then when the light hits it she just glitters<o></o> <o></o> Nelson<o></o>

VERY nice car...especially with that motor in it....if i did not already have enough cars i would be all over it. Everybody knows that you could only duplicate the car for twice the money..
