WELL PUT. Per your quote > The military should be a part of all represented, just as farmers, storekeepers, teachers, the bum on the street, the drunk in the bar, even the person behind bars, everyone needs to be in the representative whole of all Americans.

Unfortunately, reviewing the demo graphs of Congress, this isn't happening.
What I'm trying to get across and NOT very well, when we go to War, we need to stop compromising our military with Political Management.
We don't need our young being killed and maimed for not good reasons or not believing we need to win a war we justified America we need to fight.
Let's get real here, fight if we need too or stay home. Make sure it's "Justified" before we send our sons and daughters into war.
    Not all will come back.

Getting all types of Americans in Congress is never going to happen.
Farmers, storekeepers, teachers, the bum on the street, the drunk in the bar, even the person behind bars, everyone needs to be in the representative whole of all Americans. That was the intend, but that was gone long ago. The educated and wealthy are in Congress. Vet

I wish I could answer that, I really do.
Every time the Iranian people (and their women) demonstrate against the Regime they live in; they get slathered in the streets,
    and imprisoned.
Unfortunately, internal Revolution is the only answer I can see, to keep America from going to war.
But, without internal Military help, this may never come to fruition.

If I had to guess, Israel has a very, very strong military. If Iran keeps pushing Israel, Israel will take out Iran and Iran's proxies will fold-under without Iran's military support of weapons. Just my guess at this point in time.
Don't forget, Israel does have nuclear capability. Will they use it, only as a last-ditch effort to survive.

Nine countries currently possess nuclear weapons. These countries are:
    1. United States
    2. United Kingdom
    3. Russia (the successor of the former Soviet Union)
    4. France
    5. China
    6. India
    7. Pakistan
    8. Israel (although Israel maintains a policy of deliberate ambiguity regarding its nuclear arsenal)
    9. North Korea

The bombing of Iran's nuclear capabilities (preferably by the US and Israel) is the establishments end game.

They are trying to make it appear as just another step in recent escalations. "Don't mind us, we're just doing some surgical bombing, we are not trying to start WWIII here."

I really wonder if the drones were armed with anything big? It seemed when they were being shot down, very little explosions and happenings occurred.

Just another way of pissing of the Israelis and probing their Air Defenses.
My guess is, the Iranians want to see how far the Israelis will go with their counterattack.
Use it to fuel propaganda throughout the Middle East and hoping they will receive Worldwide approval for their actions.
I see no reasons why they would launch an ineffective attack. Vet

That's 300 less drones to attack Ukraine!
"It is estimated that the cost of the popular Shahed-136 is $20,000-$40,000 for one unit. This fact, together with the reports that Iran sold more than two thousand drones to Russia alone, makes it clear that Tehran earns millions of dollars from these transactions. Feb 2, 2024"

The only way this will happen is if we draft people to serve like the old selective service military drafts.

I agree, the draft wasn't a bad system. If you were smart and knew you were going to be drafted, you would be smart and investigate all the services to see where you could benefit the most.
One can only draft dodge so long. Collage is only 4 years.

Just for the fun of it - How do you think that the majority of residents in Pennsylvania would feel if the surrounding states (there are six) decided to seize Pennsylvania and give it to the Amish?

I live in central Pa and the Amish have scooped 95% of the farms and farmland here. They take care of them when they get them and are pretty decent neighbors. I wouldn't mind that at all...

Faith or no, Israel was attacked by a terrorist organization that happens to be the duly elected government of their neighbor. The people of Gaza chose to elect them, allowed them to build weapons storage facilties under schools and offices under hospitals. As a people, they stood silent while Hamas moved enough equipment, men and dirt to build 400 plus miles of tunnel under their homes and businesses. They turned a blind eye to soldiers popping out of cellars and alleyways. The people of Gaza, by their own actions AND inactions, put themselves and their children in harm’s way. What’s happening now is sad, but elections/actions/inactions have consequences. All the protests, wailing and handwringing won’t change the fact that Israel has a neighbor with a sworn oath to eliminate its people, and knows what it needs to do. Sooner or later. No time like the present…

Until you come upon one or more of those slow horse pulled wagons on PA State Hwy 696 while you're hauling 40,000 lbs of goods and trying to get to your delivery in Shippensburg before they close for the weekend. :D:D Yup, experienced this first hand. :p

Probably passed a few Buicks on that road too. ;)

    I agree with you.
However, this is what happened to the Japanese, Germans and Italians.
