Is the Q-jet spoken for?

I know John O. sets these up for the combintaion requested, can you give some insight into the car he built this carb for?

Any noticeable hesitation of bog with the carb installed?

The carb was set up for a 1970 GS 455 Stage 1, w/ Postons GS113 cam, Performer intake and headers. Rear gear was a stock non A/C 3.64. Otherwise, it was stock, in every way, never rebuilt. Vacuum was 13 to 14, due to the cam. You will of course have to tune the idle mixture for your car.

The carb was perfect when I pulled the engine to put in a "play drivetrain". I have the build sheet for the carb, and I leaned out the metering rods just a size or two. No bogs, no hesitation, etc. You can always tune it to your combo, if it is not to your liking. Eventhough John is no longer rebuilding carbs, he might still rework this one, as it has all the stuff on it, that was getting hard to find. Also, he knows what has been done to it, as he did the work. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks.

From the instructions: 15lb. weight in scale accuracy is + or - 2 oz. max anywhere on the full scale.

50 lb weight in scale accuracy is + or - 4 oz max anywhere on the full scale.
