Nice pics on the front of the cover!:TU: :Brow:

I enjoyed reading the members' stories with their cars. I may want to do that if the next issue permits it:Do No:

  2. Greg Schmelzer

Greg Schmelzer What are you looking at?!

    Great articles as well...

Great article by Hillbilly Dave on the Kearney event. IF he didn't get the message across, let me say this. If at all possible, you must come next year. It is an absolute bash.

Just for the record, I am not really as fat as the picture of me on page 6.:Brow:

    I got mine!

I think this issue was the best so far. I really enjoyed the members rides in there as well. Only "A" bodies" though.

I noticed RACEBUICKS posting some restoration pix on a previous post. I think a continuing project like this would be a great recurring installment.

    Just my .02

    Good job to all contributors!

  10. Heck, the sticks don't start until you get over here to Fargo...

I did get mine yesterday though. :) Haven't found time to read it yet, but will after work today. BEFORE I open the CC I just got.

    AWWWWW MAN..............

You guys are soo lucky. I haven't got mine yet :ball: and I have been looking forward to it. To be honest I have been looking forward to the pix Rick chose to use with the article. I just kinda turned him loose and let him choose from all the ones Mike Atwood put up on his site.

    Greg and Eric,

Glad yall liked the article. It was fun to sit down and do the "recall" thing while writing it. The wife even kinda wondered what was up while I was down here......I'd be typing away and then remember something funny and just start laughin'. For example: 4 of us idiots trooping across the Buick dealers lot at 3 in the A.M. to have a breakfast that John Coniloge decided we all needed(by the way John thanks). Shoulda been in bed LONGGGG before that but we were "waitin' up for folks to get there",lol. Anyways......looking forward to seeing it myself, should be here tommorrow.......................

    later...................

    yo.. Dave

pm with your shipping address.. not the PO box..

You have something else coming with the newsletter..

If you do it quickly, I will send it today, as I am sitting here with my pre-historic computer, on this silly dial up, doing online shipping stuff with fed-ex.. And the BPG boxes to the national and regional directors are one of the things I am shipping today.

Boxes have a surprise in them..

Got mine today!!! I was so exited. I opened it up and started reading the captions under the pictures (can't read the whole article-to exited) I turn the page...cool my bother's car is in the members ride section. Next page Uh-oh... to my horror my car is in the members ride section. :Dou: If I would've known that pic was going out in the news letter, I would've found a better pic. I would've also rewrote the desciption of the car. "my car this and my car that". :spank: I sound like I'm twelve...

Got mine today, ok, but could have more input from the membership, Rick does his best to get articles, but to have to read the same article in 3 newsletters is absurb! If the BPG is going to do the Buick gendre right, then we better get with the tech articles, resto articles and more coming Rick's way as the NE GS/GN newsletter had alot of great articles about member's cars and their trek to Flint, as did the Michigan Chapter newsletter! Our BPG Editor, can only print what they get from the membership, and if they don't get any pictures or articles, then it's not their fault, it's you members, that can take 10 minutes to write an article about your car, experience at the track, or anything else you would like to tell a Buick Buddy racer but then don't be the one to complain about what you don't read about in any stuff in the newsletter from the GSCA, NE GS/GN, Michigan Chapter, Chicagoland Chapter or any other GS Club afffiliate.
There is enough room for all Buick enthusiasts to do what ever they want from show to go fast, the important thing is that we grow together as one go fast group and not split our union as the best classic, go fast, division of General Motors, even if GM abandons us as a go fast part of history, we may still have a chance to overcome that with the enthusiast bunch of us that are totally BUICK, we have to tell the GM folks that we live and breath Buick's and will fight for the right to still be the best in class, and fast!
