See, this is what I don't get. Up until now it was people discussing possibilities of what it could be, and reporting on other possible events that hold some pretty large coincidences, and maybe even further evidence that could point to the truth...........whatever it may end up being. Contrails are water vapor that condenses into ice crystals. In WW 2; B-17 and B-24 cruising altitudes were often selected so as to prevent the leaving of contrails, which are arrows pointing to the bombers. The adiabatic lapse rate is about 3 1/2 degrees farenheit per 1,000 feet. At 30,000 feet, the temperature would be roughly 105 degrees colder then at the surface. As has been mentioned by others in this thread, I have been watching jet contrails since we first started seeing turbine-powered airliners in the late 50s. One reason for bigger contrails is that "jet" airliners are not really jets anymore. It is much more efficient to accelerate a large cone of air rearward at a lower velocity then it is to accelerate a small cone of air at a high velocity. The engines are called turbofans and are really a turbine engine driving a ducted fan. Believe it or not, modern "jet" airliners are propeller-driven! If you want to split hairs, you need to decide just how many blades a propeller has to have before it becomes a turbine. The point of all of this is that with the switch to turbofans, the diameter of the engine has become much larger. Larger engine diameter equals larger contrail. Sorry for the length. :Smarty:

No need to apologize for length, always good to learn something new! I personally don't believe that all contrails are chemicals being sprayed into the atmosphere, they are a natural occurence of.........well, I don't really need to explain it, as everyone else has done an excellent job already. However, history has shown that the government is more than willing to test new chemicals on our own troops, and I do not believe it is a stretch of the imagination to believe that they would do the same to our own civilians.

To the direct reason for Wheelers murder, this report says, was this past weeks transport of Iraqi Phosgene poisonous gas aboard a US Air Force KC-767 tanker aircraft from Little Rock Air Force Base enroute to Afghanistan that shortly after takeoff had a critical malfunction of its aerial spraying computer directed command and control system over central Arkansas causing the deaths of thousands of red-wing blackbirds. According to US reports an estimated 4,000 of these birds were killed outright and were quickly removed by US Environmental Services workers wearing hazmat suits and gas masks. Another US report states that cause of death to these thousands of birds was trauma in the breast tissue, with blood clots in the body cavity and a lot of internal bleeding which this GRU report states is consistent with Phosgene exposure. Even more chilling than this incident is this GRU report stating that it was the second accidental release of Phosgene poisonous gas in as many days, as the day before, this same US Air Force KC-767 tanker aircraft also had a critical malfunction causing a release over the Arkansas River that killed over 100,000 fish. Upon Wheeler discovering what was happening with Iraqs Phosgene poisonous gas stockpiles, this report continues, he traveled from his home in Delaware to Washington D.C. where he openly confronted and threatened to expose the Pentagon and White House Officials responsible. Being a Vietnam Veteran who was responsible for having the famous memorial to that war erected, Wheeler was more than knowledgeable about the United States massive chemical and biological attacks in that conflict and had vowed to not let happen again.
Well one of the things that was mentioned in a few conspiracy shows/articles is that the trails are not where they would normally be- normal in/out bound flights. I HAVE seen these things parallel each other across the sky, where none have EVER been before. I mean when you look up into a sky that was clear blue for DECADES , and all of a sudden there are mile wide man-made clouds, THAt should give you pause...
