The white stage 1 was a complete born with stage 1 components and plenty of original paperwork. The blue stage 1 has replacement Block from 1973, has the correct carburetor but not distributor and there’s absolutely no numbers on the transmission case. It also helps that the white car was restored by Thornton. The blue stage is definitely a better color combination. Hell I could’ve bought it for 40 K when it was first restored. Once again I wasn’t willing to sell my black stage 1.
It could be the original trans the car was originally bought by a Buick engineer new. But still no way to verify The transmission.
That blue car was for sale on here back in early 2017 for around low $40's. As for these prices, they're almost make believe. A couple guys entire collections have sold and netted them millions. Even the commentators have stopped making mention of the high prices. Craziest couple days I've ever seen in this hobby.
When I watched a few minutes & saw neon signs, albeit nice ones, hammering @ $30k I knew it was going to be nuts. So much for the market softening.
Was an orbit orange 70 judge running around my town in the early 80's. We always made fun of it saying "Here come the judge" whenever it was spotted. I wonder how it was equipped now.
I know this isn't news but geez, how many Camaros and Corvettes can you sell. Of course people are buying them...so what do I know...

All these BJ & Mecum cars are rebuilt. Only Museum cars are unmolested, maybe not all of them either. These guys have more money than God, and buy whatever they want....planes, trains & automobiles...
