Now i know you boys from up north kinda like that Low look, but us boys from Akron like a little air in the fenderwells :TU: I was so embarassed about this Firebirds stance at the fall race(low, looking kinda tired),that i just had to "fix" it,before i bagged it up for the winter! If i would have got it done more than 2 days before the race,i would have never been seen with that Mexican, :error: in the weeds stance :Dou: Tom,car looks cool!Would you believe i still have not found a good 69 Bird body!!!!

Lookin' good John, running good too!

Yes John, I would believe that you haven't found a good body.
For as many of them that were built, the remaining one's are either totally
rotten piles, totally restored big dollar car's, or right in the middle(which most
of them are) are the Custom candy apple red modified's that were dragged
through a jeg's catalog, covered with braided hose cover's and lot's of chrome
and billet on their small block chevy engine's :Dou:

I'm with daveh on this. The phrase "cosmetic restoration" came to mind immediately. I'd think "mostly original car with partial cosmetic restoration" would be a very accurate description of that very fine-looking ride :TU:

So all I have to do is repaint a rust-free car and I can call it a partial restoration? Cool - and to think I thought there was more to it than just paint.

The only parts I've put back on my red 68 W30 since it came out of the paint shop are the new door handles. Wahoo. I'm done!

    Hey Tom, how's it going?

Sure looks like a restoration to me, perhaps body-on or cosmetic restoration best describes it.

What's the story behind the Wildcat in your avatar? A new acquisition? Is it for sale yet? I might be interested.

    When in Rome

I figured if I was going to spend a bunch of time on a Buick site, the least I
could do is put a picture of a Buick in the Avatar to show some respect.
