Does anyone know if Osbourn supports his product? I have Marco's Q-jet and it is dripping fuel on the right side. Looks like I will be looking for a new set of needles and jets for the primary cucuit. I've had good luck with "The Carb Doctor" in the past and is carring the thicker top gastets solving warping issues with the top cover. I tried a link for Osbourn and it showed as not current, AL.

Hi Bill, his Q-Jet is dripping fuel on the left side at idle and causing a poor idle and wasting fuel. That's just one of the things I'm looking into. The other biggie is the exhaust fit and the exhaust manifold leaks. His ride is in good hands :beer , AL.

Bruce, do you have a source for a quaulity rebuild kit and a unaultered set of 76 jets and 48-B rods? I think "The Carb Doctor" is not interested in sell parts any more. Marco's Q-Jet is dripping fuel on the right side primary, AL.

Bill, funny you posted this.... last night I had a road kill on late model Chevy SUV with my 93 Park Avenue Ultra :3gears: . As far as Marco's sweet ride, I would only give this TLC :beers2: , AL.

    Hi Al,
If you can't find Quadrajet parts or rebuild kits I can help. I stock and sell 100's of Q-jet parts. Check out my website to view selection.

I've learned more about the carb, the primary air baffles have been drilled. This is not needed for a stock cam 455. I may look into repairing or replacing the baffles and primary needles and jets, AL.

AL, I have some parts but it looks like Greg has alot in stock. I usually drill out the existing jets. If you want me to go thru it I'd be glad to help.....

48 rods are good with the 76 jets....clean cruise, good power.

Sounds like the float level is high and/or top gasket bad.

Bruce, thanks for your follow up :beer . I thought the same thing but what puzzeled me was why was only one side dripping fuel at 650 RPM? AL.

Bruce, did I tell you the two lower primary air baffels were drilled as well? Looks like a 1/8" hole, AL.

Is it dripping into the bore or outside the carb? If it is a 70 or earlier carb they are famous for this especially if the throttle plates are drilled. Too much air flow thru the primary bores at idle. The 71 up carbs have an idle air bypass to avoid this.

Bruce, it's dripping at the top just as if the throttle was being opened, AL.
