    What year carb? Sound like classic "nozzle drip".

    Marco said it was a 1971 455, what would cause one side to drip? AL.

    Clogged idle air bypass or air bleed. Float level may be high. Probably needs cleaned and blown out. 71 carb # is 7041540. Is that what it is?

    Bruce, you are correct! it is a 7041540, AL.

    Greg, I noticed your primary air baffles (blades) have a little half moon devete one one side, does it matter if this goes up or faces down? I was not sure if this was a indicator showing the off set for installation, AL.
