At least your listening then. I never claimed anything different, Im not perfect only forgiven! One of my cousins was shot 4 times in a robbery attemt and survived only 5 years ago. A policeman friend was shot and killed in a drug raid several years ago too. Now this. All these perp's get are slaps on the wrist. What we need is some "eye for an eye" stuff again to slow down the wave of crime that is hitting all towns.

Mike sorry to hear about your friend. About the slap on the wrist. I am a Trooper in Delaware and what makes difference here is pressure from the victim ,friends and family for this not to happen. Be there at preliminary hearings. Seeing a victim in a full length cast with friends supporting him makes a difference to the judge. Call and let the Prosecutor know all of you care and are watching how things turn out. The best luck on your friends full recovery.

Update: My wife and I have been helping all along but this Sunday I went to Jays house and helped get the kids up, fed and dressed. And took them all to church !!! (first time since the shooting) Jays wife works sunday morning so unless I helped them Sunday would not be a reality. They were so happy to be back in church that Jay even stayed for the Bible Study. However by the time we got back home he was worn out. So I took his kids for the afternoon so he could rest. He is in the reabilitation program now and they are as he says "bending him" so that is hurting along with just the healing process in general. I saw a picture he had from the day after surgury of his side and he was bruised from the hip down passed his knee, I mean to say he was just flat purple all the way down no break in the color !!!!! Anyway he is crutching along but still has a long way to go. For those who are praying thank you!! And Please continue .........
Good to hear he's doing alright,its sad that people can be such ###holes,but thats the nature of our messed up society these days.Its terrible that it happened in front of his kids,something no child should ever have to see.I'm prayin for everyone.
DONT LOOK IF YOU HAVE A WEAK STOMACH I thought I would drop a picture (taken after surgery) to show how much impact a bullit from a hand gun has. This shows the intensity of the power from a single shot. Notice from the front of the leg the in side and the patch on the rear of the leg is the exit wound. I hope is that noone I know ever has to endure this. It has been tough for my friend to deal with as it has taken a toll on his ability to be self sufficiant. We all take it for granted how we can do just anything. For instance get up and run to the bathroom, takes me 2 minutes tops, Jay has a 10-15 minute ordeal just to get to the bathroom. My hope is that we dont forget how priceless life is. It is way to short and its end is permanent. Always let GOD be your life, In the end why be wrong about GOD.
