Like the title of the ad says, it is a 12" PAE Switch/Pitch converter with an 1800 rpm low stall steed, and a 4000 rpm high stall speed. At least that is what I was told by the board member that sold it to me. I have never used it, so I have no idea where the flash rpm is. Even the listed stall speed will vary depending on the torque & horsepower level of the motor being used in front of it, and the temperature of the transmission fluid. I do know it looks nearly new on the outside, and it worked fine according to the previous owner, it was just too much stall speed for his particular application (big car, mild motor). PAE 12" switch pitch converter with 1800/4000 stall speed is still for sale. BT code 1967 switch pitch 400 turbo transmission is also still for sale as a complete unit (it needs to be gone through), although I am discussing disassembling the trans and selling only the parts required for an swich pitch conversion to a standard 400 turbo with a board member at this time. Price is $250 for the converter, $200 for the complete transmission, plus whatever freight charges are necessary to get it to your location. Or you can pick them up in Fort Scott, KS 66701. PAE converter is sold and has been shipped to Jamie. I still have the 67 S/P 400 trans for sale, as well as 3 other (75-76 vintage) long tailshaft turbo 400 transmissions. The price for the rebuildable S/P is $200 plus shipping. The other 3 I will let go for $100 each plus shipping, or you can pick them up in Fort Scott, KS 66701.
