What are your cam specs to warrant steel rockers? My cam is a roller .620" @260' hopefully my alloy rockers will be ok

The only number I know on the cam so far is that it's right about .800" lift. I don't think I "needed" steel rockers...I just wanted them for overkill/insurance. The aluminum rockers that I've broken over the years were due to them being clearanced to fit over the 230 lb 1.550" springs I ran with my old roller cam. That's not an issue anymore, since I've now got unbreakable rockers that'll fit the big springs.
BTW, Mike said he'd try to get his son to post some pics of my new rockers, which will now be available (in either aluminum or steel)from TA, without the delay of sending your heads to T&D. Mike's going to stock the rockers, and machine the heads to fit them "in house".

It's 98% done. Just a couple more things to bolt on and it's ready for the dyno. Maybe I'll get a dyno sheet for a Christmas present. Thanks for asking.

Looking good Doug!! It will be nice to be able to just race and not worry about "when it's going to happen"!

Looks like I will be joining the "Tomahawk Club" in the next few years. Looking forward to a little feeling of confidence myself while racing!

    Keep up the good work!

There's no need. I tried that same test ten years ago on the 528" that Scotty built me. Vacuum pump made about 25hp.
