Well, here's a picture of my '61 LeSabre. 4 door sedan, 4469, 364cui, 2 barrell Rochester. The previous owner "converted" it into a police car :af: . Lousy paint job, spotlight drilled through the door, loud siren under the hood... :ball: The plan is to restore its original turquoise color. I'm currently working on the upholstery. It's probably going to take a couple of years before it's done (like you're EVER done !!!). But hey, you gotta do something in your spare time, right? See ya, Dennis.
Hi Dennis, That could be a nice 61. I had a 61 LeSabre long time ago with the same police paint, Ill try to find a pic. It sure will be nice in the original color.
thanks guys for the compliments. I don't what the color is for sure. It is a 75 series I just rebuilt the motor and it looks so nice under the hood I didn't keep it all stock but the buick green sure looks nice when it is new. I cant wait until spring to get it rolling again. I want to get involved in car shows and join a buick club.
Some of my rides This is the 56 Special 46R me and my pops redid about 12 years ago (still have it, and drive it). This is my latest project, My 53 Super. I really like what I'm seeing around here so far, :TU: Don W.
Clean cars around here 1LowLesabre, I'm digging your ride, after I finish up my 53 Super...I am setting my sights on a 59-60 Invicta with a similar look to your car. Damn I like these Buicks! Don W.
'50 Roadmaster 2dr hardtop Hi- My '50 Roadie has the original straight eight engine with Dynoflow. 12V converted but all else is original from older restoration. Runs sweet and drives like a Buick Roadmaster should! :bglasses:
Steve, That 50 is excellent. Was it supposed to be one color like that? I just saw somewhere that if you want a pontiac Vibe in "monotone" you pay an extra $325.00 today. Can you imagine, More money for less work!!!
Here's one from the Turkey Rod run In Daytona Florida. courtesy of grannys70skylrk: Wish I could have been there.
I just have to get into this "I'll show you mine, if you..... 1957 Buick Roadmaster model 73 (yes I have replaced the ball-joints), runs even better than it looks, would really like my narrow whites to put on some weight and become "fat" whites. Perhaps I will win some???? The 56 is now my son Andrew's car (mine last year).
This is an OLD thread so might as well keep it going. Might be some new ones in the last year. Reviewed some of the old pics and am impressed.
