    Right from the producers ....

".....The Son of Kong is portrayed as considerably smaller than his famous father"

Script writer Ruth Rose intentionally made no attempt to make a serious film on the logic that it could not surpass the first. She stated "If you can't make it bigger, make it funnier."

    Touche' :bglasses:

The Buick 350 has been the Rodney Dangerfield(no respect) of small blocks for years.
Benoit holds the quickest small block crown with the Lt-1 Vette.

My only real goal with this car and engine combo, is to make a Buick 350 run as quick as it can within the rules. While the heads aren't the greatest thing I've ever seen, it does produce a good amount of torque at a relatively low rpm, and we all know how much of a difference using NHRA specs can help in the compression department.
The Buick 350 has some pretty decent exhaust manifolds, almost carbon copies of the ones on the 455.
    A TH350 trans, and a 4:10 geared 10bolt rear.
All this in a manual steering, manual drum brake, bench seat, radio delete skylark with 14x6 inch wheels.

    Whatever it run's, it run's.
    We shall see:Brow:

Over the years, I've found that it is best to keep your expectations low and be pleasantly surprised.
We've got a while before it's going to be race ready.
I don't think it's going to be done by this September, unfortunately.
I'm just trying to be realistic, and with being busy at work, and having my brothers Chevelle to help finish, I don't see the time to finish mine right now.

Anyways, I'm not throwing out a number:moonu: My guess is that it has the ability to run within a tenth of what similar weight, 350 powered GM A-body's run, or have run in the past.
