No rush -- I will count them as yours. Once they are done - I.e. next week -- I will get a final price and let you know.

I can have more made but they will need to be done in runs of three sets each, if any other folk need them.

Will check on polishing this week -- they can do it, not sure how it affects price.

I've got a nice NOS set of caps, but I'd need $1,100 for them and I'd have to decide if I really want to let them go. Nice to have them around in case i lose one of mine.

Also have an NOS set of 15 x 7 A-body wheels, and those would be even pricier. Again, tough to sell.

As to the caps, I am going Wednesday to pick up a set, I have my fingers crossed that they look good. I do know this, they will molded in plastic, then chromed.

Well, my buddy managed to cut 84 lug nuts from one bar. Assuming he screws one or two up while threading them, he should definitely get at least 80 out of this run, i.e. four sets.

I'm not sure how that affects price -- material costs don't change, set up costs don't change, initial machining costs dsn't change, but he has to do proportionately more threading, which takes the most labor / is the most expensive part of the project.

The lug nuts are currently in a tumbler for de-burring / polishing, and they should get threaded next week. It may not be a full polishing -- he'll shoot me a pic when he pulls them out. They can always go back in after threading.

Anyway, I hope to have them in my hands / on my car / available to you guys shortly after the new year.

    Bill,

We got pounded with snow, and I havent gone to get them. Add the fact that its been colder than billy fuzz, and I havent done much car wise.

I did get the message, and no brother, I am not mad at all. I havent played with DQ stuff in a while, and it seems like with the holidays and all, time just hasnt been easy to find for anything.

I need to do a road trip this weekend go bring these home.
