I have witnessed one episode. At least we had a nice road trip and you got to meet my friends, the "world famous Bobb and Amy Makley" .

 

Well at least now I know why Dave invited me over for dinner

 

Hahahaha...I wondered if it would seem odd to invite you over for dinner in the morning. LOL.. Going to have a few people check it out before I pull the engine. My give some clues as to why it happened.

Meanwhile, my red 68 W30 is ready to come home for the final details and startup. I'm going to take it up to my friend's shop in Clio who just did all the repair on the Ramrod's engine. Great guy, does fabulous work and now getting lots of business on other stuff, not just Oldsmobiles..."Musclecars and More" on Dort Highway. I saw a Morgan and a Lamborghini in there a few weeks ago. Lots of Camaros, Firebirds, etc.

 

I know where that is. I have traveled Dort many times. We have a friend (Dan Hippensteel), a former drag racer now a street cruiser, who lives in Clio near there.

 

Red car...a real 68W30 built the way I like it (and the way they should have.



68 Toronado W34 455 with W30/HUrst Ramair, 4 speed, 3.91 rear.

 

Not quite Pure Stock, has Hooker headers with a 3 inch system with Flowmasters. Media blasted on a rotisserie.

Hard to believe that I read 14 pages on a Corvette forum, but it was worth it !!

Kudos to Donny Brass and family and friends that helped with getting the 63 Vette back on the road in near record time. It's a better read than all those fake reality shows with their fake deadlines.
