Called TCI and they had no idea why it is doing what it is doing, but gave me a few things to check out.
I swapped the guage to a smaller more actuate one. Good thing about that is it showed about 12 pounds at idle, but pegged it when the engine was revved (only 100 pound guage ). I byepassed everything a little at a time and got the same results. Only thing I can think it might be is that the guy at What Ever It Takes sold me the wrong pump to drum seals. Or somehow the wrong seals were installed. I know I put new seals on and remember the front pump went on easy. In the past, I had to draw the pump into the case. This time the pump fell into place and I could just put the bell housing on. After a cable adjustment, you have to keep your mouth open when it drifts now like when you shoot a high powered rifle. It shifts hard is putting it mildly.
