OK.. I looked around and see what this is and what it does, but I'm not so sure we can make it work on either of our setups. I have a stock ignition. Pretty sure it won't work with that. It appears that with an automatic, you would need a vehicle speed sensor to turn it off as soon as you move or at the very least a button of some type.

I was told by the manufacture that their 50% was considered non flammable.
Each of these springs depend on what wastegate you have they give specs inside each listing. http://stores.ebay.com/Alamo-Performance-Wholesale/_i.html?_nkw=wastgate&submit=Search&_sid=76385847

here is the spring and ball thingy http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0271305911&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT

now as far as the 2 step is concerned, it is you would activate it with a 12 volt source (brake pedal or Transbrake) without the Transbrake it would enable you to set it at what ever RPM that would build boost but not push you through the tree. However it would not allow you to build as much boost as using a TB

i have a toggle swich on the dash to "arm" mine at the track, and then it is activated by my brake pedal....as soon as i let off the brake to take off the 2-step stops and the car launches

and i dont know if you could a 2 step with stock ignition but anyone that has msd or any type of "box" ignition would be able to use one

How does it wire in?? I have a petronix point replacement.. How does it interrupt spark??

Your signal that fires the distributor goes to the 2-step(electronic ignition) then the electronic ignition controls the spark from there. I believe a petronix will have a provision to use a 2-step as well but someone else who has experience with this would have to speak up. Call petronix they would be able to tell you exactly how to do it. Or call MSD or Mallery and they would definitely would be able to tell you what you would need to do.

Hey James, If you ever plan to upgrade youre turbos for more power...or just more reliability/better efficiency range compressor map...T3/60-1(5bolt hotside like the t04e) gt35s(4-bolt hotside) can be had for cheap with a t3 flange to bolt up to marks kit.

bigger ones which would be cool for a big block would be a t67(v-band hotside) or t76(4-bolt hotside) but you'll need a t3/t4 adapter(like 40bucks each) due to the t-turbos having a t4 flange.

the t67 and t76 turbos are oil cooled..the gt35 is oil/water but you dont have to run the water lines if you dont want to.
the gt-35 you might have to redo the turndown or buy a 4bolt to 5bolt adapter

Just something to think about if and when the time comes :TU:

Actually, I am running t40b that are too big they are 1.15 hot and .63 cold. I have been looking at some hybrids that are close to what you where recommending. I am going to be fitting a set of 63 hot side 50 cold this should make it spool much quicker.

damn yea you should try and have youre compressor arouns the 70a/r and youre hotside around 68 or so

you could probably do well with a .82 hotside with .70 cold
i'll pm ya a link that is similar to what youre looking for that has the same 5 bolt hotside, otherwords you'll have to redo the downpipe a bit if that matters or not?
if not I can send ya the other links too lol

    btw, youre manifolds are a t3/t4 flange right...or just a t4?
is youre turbo 4bolt or 5bolt hotside

my exhaust manifold is the large T4 but I am re drilling it for the small T3. the down pipe is 3" V-band but I am building a 5 bolt converted to a 3" V-band so that I can use the 5 bolt style Turbo. I have found some ebay turbos for a decent price but send me what ever links you have.

please do not get a t3 flange turbo....yes they will spool instantly but you will have TONS of back pressure and probably stop making power by 5k rpm

I have my governor set to shift at 5000 RPM. With 30" tires it shifts at 4900 and with 26" tires it shifts at 5000.

I'm shifting the wagon at 6000. Shifting at 5800 it ran a 12.74. Bumped it up to 6000 and ran a 12.28. The 60' was part of that, but not all of it.

the gt35 t3/t4 turbos is about the only onew I really like .70 ar compressor and .83 a/r turbine and can be had with dual ball bearing
..well dual wet floating bearings lol

btw, the first 2 or 3 links you posted were twin scroll turbos...they'll bolt to youre manifolds but you wont get the benefits on the twin scroll without newly designed turbo manifolds/headers :-(

you pretty much seperate each bank(4 cylinders per turbo) 2 cylinders per scroll of the turbo...and you'd need 4 wategates!

Best setup anyone could do...just lots of work/plumbing...but you yeild a more effcient system with better power, spoll-up, and use of exhaust resources :-D

    EDIT: damn type-os haha

just found 2 more that sounds really good, and might spool quicker then a t67

    62-1 turbos
    t3 flange is $289 .63/4bolt hotside
    t4 flange is $275 .68/3"v-band hotside
both have a .70 compressor trim
I'm definatly going with one of these probably the t4 due to the v-band flow/less backpressure during high psi, just have to get some flange adapters
v-band flows the best, needs no gasket/bolts/nuts and no backpressure reversion for high psi setup)
4bolt flows better then the old 5 bolt ford pattern!
