Not much going on with the GSX. I already put over 1k miles on her this season and it's not even summer yet! I'll probably will have 5k miles on it total since I bought it by the end of the summer Thanks to @Brett Slater, the GSX now has stamped upper and lower hoses! Other than that, the car is very reliable, starts right up hot or cold. Everything works. It's as close to how it would of been driving one of these in like 1975 as you can get. Aside from fixing the bottom inserts in the bucket seats, it's pretty much dialed in. I like it just the way it is
What's going down in Morgantown?..heard someone say GSX @ GNX reunion of some sort? There an official page for this.

That actualy happened to me a couple years ago with my 99.5 Ford Lightning..this truck is nice. Bought new , never seen rain, with a tick over 10K miles. Nice day so took it to a store to get office supplies.parked way away from everybody. While checking out I see a beater Tarus parked next to my Lightning. Thought that was very odd.while walking out I see him open his door so quick it SnapBack shut. He then takes off. Sure enough he ding my front fender. Lucky that it didn’t take any paint off. So called my paintless dent repair dude.50 bucks later no dent.
The GSX has developed an ignition issue. Started running rough. It got a wierd random missfire at cruise. It was just "off" from how it usually runs Took the points out and they're definitely pitted. One pad has a crater in it. Started putting in a set of new points and noticed the ground wire was broken off the breaker plate. So out came the distributor and a new breaker plate went in. Put it all back together and now it runs even worse! Lol. Swapped in a new condenser....no bueno. Still running like dog excrement I'm gonna sleep on it and try again to get to the bottom of the mystery.
Test those crappy carbon ribbon wires. Look at the running engine at night. Maybe you can see some arcing.
Pulling a motor out of a car that looks this good would not be fun. Hopefully its a simple issue thats easy to fix
He probably set the point gap with a match book and then just marked the distributor to ease the install process.
