If trucks were counted, then hands down it would be a Hummer H1, not the newer H2. I'd love to drive one to see just how indestructable or destructable it really is.
Milners coupe as I recall was a 32' . Telling the difference between a 32' and 4' isn't that hard. The 32 has a flat grille shell and the 34' kicks out at the bottom and rolls forward. Next time you see one and look for these differences you will know immediately which one your looking at I promise. I got shown this when I was about 13/4. I have pointed out the difference to my son and he can show you if the two were side beside, and he's 6. Just remeber the 32 is flatter like a,for example, 28' model A. You want confusing..........get into a model T once. They had more differences than Buick had models from 70 to 73,lol. (p.s. anyone know where I can find some 17' doctors coupe doors ??? I REALLY need some) later...........................
Evans, GMC offered Schwarzenaggar (sp?) a chance to take the H2 through the hummer proving grounds. He drove it like he offroads his H1 and he ripped a front wheel off.
Yes, the Macho Trans Am's, built by Mechum.... 1976, 77, 78 and a few years after that...Some had the chrome roll bar option. Also, in very large letters along the bottom of the doors was 'MACHO'. I believe there was also an option for a 'built' engine with a turbo on it.... Let's not forget Ponch's Formula/ Trans Am from CHiPS--- Gold with side pipes... Those roller disco's--- can't get much more MACHO than Ponch in that Poncho!!! !
Yeah, but the perception people have of a civilian Hummer driver is that they have Freudian issues with their.. er.. um... Unit. Ferrari Testarossa Maserati Countach
I think we have two ends to the spectrum here.... cheesy macho and cool macho Cheesy macho... Burt Reynolds would drive it Cool macho.... James Dean would drive it
My sister-in-law owns an H2, which I have driven a couple of times. They're fun to play around in, but I'd definitely rather have an H1. I don't see the point in owning an H2 for commuting either--my 1990 Bronco does just fine for that and is enough macho for me! Besides, replacement parts are dang cheap for this thing.
If we're only sticking with the homegrown stuff, I'd have to pick either the '67 or '68 L-88 427" Corvette!!:TU: :TU: (I prefer the '67 body style though!!). Ever hear one of those with open headers at the track?? :bglasses: Wild cams!!:TU: :TU:
How about a lemon twist convertible 426 Hemi Cuda , 4spd with white top and interior??? http://www.nashbridges.com/cuda.html Ronnie
Dave, We can make you some. Here is my father in laws hand built 1913 Ford CCab. http://www.angelfire.com/tx4/skylark1972/cab.gif
Other cars that look mean in the front is the `70 Charger, and the `70 Coronet R/T or superbee, and offcourse i have to say the `67 GS400,how can i forget thatou:
***coolest*** Duh!! **** '70 GSX **** **'69 Stage 1 GS** Then way down the line after that is '70 hemi superbird, 427 cobra, and just about any dual quad machine.
I don't know about MOST macho but 622 cubic inches, no rollbar, 1910 was a long time ago! Originally driven by a couple of guys named Chevrolet... You need hair on your chest to drive this one!
