Ray, don’t worry about your car stalling out right now. Just get that baby in the garage. I’m so sorry to see the projected path.
We did go boating yesterday afternoon/evening. We went to a part of the lake nobody goes to. We actually saw a bobcat. I know, John Everett would say, no pictures no believe. You just gotta believe. He was way bigger than we expected it to be!
Well, I don’t know what to say. Unfortunately for a large group of Buick owners it looks like the hurricane is going to hit Central Florida. Now I don’t have to do anything. Anyone need 60 gallons of gasoline for the generator. I guess I’ll put some STA-BIL in it and wait for the next storm.
Hopefully the forcast keeps it away from palm beach county.. one fact i know is true forecasting rain and storms is the only job you could be wrong every single day and still stay employed …
Oh yeah, the spaghetti models. Looks like a whole swath of the southeastern United States is going to get a good soaking. Better get your raincoats on boys.
Milton, we were out in the canals last night and they don’t even have the spillway opened up yet. I guess they’re not too worried about rain just yet. We were the only two boats out last night on the Lakes
Yes sir, John. She has a permanent position in the garage but, I'm gonna move her into the middle protected by our other two cars since she currently sits next to the west facing windows. Got the generator all ready to go if needed. You stay safe too.
Each of the last few reports showing it moving to the west a bit and coming onshore farther north. The early AM cone showed it coming into Tampa, current one shows it coming in north of Tampa. It's still days out so I'm sure it will change some more. There is a cold front heading into Louisiana that they expect will keep the storm away from them.
Well, I am out of the cone. Thank you dear Lord baby Jesus 7 lbs. 6 oz. Luckily I didn’t do anything today to get ready for the storm. Maybe the next one. If you are in the Cone, be careful. This one looks like it’s going to be a Whammer Jammer!
A good morning for some, and a bad morning for others. This is almost like buying a Buick Part. The first person in line isn’t always the person that gets the prize. Steve, aka Briz, looks like you are next in-line. Sorry
Glad it's heading North of us, but bummed that anyone is going to get it... By the way, thanks John. By participating in this thread, I don't have to watch the weather!
Good morning Rich, Yes, the storm seems to be quite unpredictable. I have the same feelings as you. I sure am glad it’s not coming to me, but I certainly don’t wish it upon anyone else. Somebody is definitely not going to have a good time. I’m guessing Tuesday afternoon will just be a breezy day with occasional showers.
Looks like the American model has it going to the panhandle and the European one has it just north of Tampa…. We went to Costco yesterday just to laugh at the madness… people were trying to figure out how to out 10 cases of water in one cart.
